Welcome to College House Bed and Breakfast in Ashland, Ohio, which really is “Someplace Special.” Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, College House Bed and Breakfast is the conveniently located within walking distance of both Ashland University and Ashland Theological Seminary. For race fans, Mid-Ohio Race Track is an easy half hour away. Also nearby are fabulous outdoor attractions including the beautiful gardens and well groomed trails of Kingwood Center Gardens, Malabar Farm State Park, Mohican Forest State Park, and Charles Mill Lake. In addition there are many beautiful local parks with multiple hiking trails and river access. If you love to spend time canoeing, fishing, or hiking, we can help you find many outdoor adventures.
College House Bed and Breakfast offers the area's most relaxed and comfortable accommodations. Our bed and breakfast was created with your comfort in mind. Our Colonial Revival Foursquare home has been beautifully updated and restored. All four guest rooms have many modern amenities including wifi, high definition flat screen televisions, DVD/VCRs, private en suite bathrooms with tub/shower combos, secure keypad door entries, and central A/C.
Whether you're in town for business, pleasure, or "just because," you can plan your day over our scrumptious, ample, made-from-scratch breakfast. Each breakfast starts with fresh fruit and orange juice, followed by a freshly made entrée made with breakfast meat on the side. We happily accommodate special diets...just let us know your preferences in advance and we'll happily prepare a breakfast that meets your needs.
The dining room is always stocked with a variety of coffees, tea, hot chocolate, and popcorn. Other goodies are sometimes available in the kitchen as well.
Feel free to enjoy our cozy and comfortable common areas, including our dining/sitting room, and our ever-popular screened-in patio. Search the library and borrow a book or video to watch in your room.
